Terms of Use

The Hitters Lineup is made by Joint Innovation Group ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using The Hitters Lineup you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Accounts

You must be an adult (18 or older) to create an account. Players are added by their parent, guardian or coach. You are responsible for your login and for everything done with it. Coaches and team admins can create, change and remove logins, players and walkups for their team.

Music and Uploads

Users are solely responsible for any music or audio they upload. The Hitters Lineup and Joint Innovation Group do not provide, license, or review uploaded content, including explicit lyrics. Uploaded audio is for in-app playback only and cannot be downloaded or used outside the app. Only upload songs you own or have the right to use.

Before each upload you confirm that you have the right to use the song. We keep a record of that confirmation.

Copyright complaints

We respect copyright. If you believe a song or other content in The Hitters Lineup infringes your copyright, email info@jointinnovationgroup.com with: your contact information, the work you believe is infringed, the team or player name where the content appears, a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, with your physical or electronic signature.

We will remove content when we receive a valid copyright complaint and may suspend accounts that repeatedly upload content they do not have rights to.

Announcer voices

Announcer intros are made with computer generated voices. If you create a custom voice from a recording, you confirm that the recording is your own voice or that you have the speaker's permission. Do not use the app to imitate someone without their consent.

Purchases

Some extras, such as custom announcer voices and sound effect packs, are paid. Prices are shown before you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe. Purchases are used inside the app and are not refundable except where the law requires.

Acceptable use

Do not upload content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or harassing, or that you do not have the right to use. Do not try to copy, download or extract audio from the app, or interfere with how it works. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app, or by emailing info@jointinnovationgroup.com.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, Joint Innovation Group is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content uploaded by users. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a big change, we will let you know in the app. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
